So tune in to our latest episode where we discuss self care and making time to celebrate special occasions and Share it with your friends and family to spread the cheer.

The conversation:

In the latest episode of The Millennial Maa, Shruthi and Pooja discussed the importance of celebrating special occasions. They talked about how they had both stopped celebrating their own birthdays as they got older, and how they realized that this was setting a bad example for their children.

Shruti said, "I remember my son asked me why I didn't invite my friends for my birthday last week. That got me thinking about how long it had been since I had really celebrated my own birthday. I think the last time was in college, when we would have parties and treats."

Pooja agreed, saying, "I think a lot of us stop celebrating our birthdays as we get older. We think it's not cool or that we're too old for it. But I think it's important to celebrate our birthdays, no matter how old we are. It's a day to mark our progress in life and to appreciate all that we have."

The moms also talked about how important it is to celebrate other special occasions, such as promotions, awards, and anniversaries. They said that these milestones are worth celebrating, and that it's important to take the time to reflect on our accomplishments.

Pooja said, "I think we often forget to celebrate our successes. We're so busy with our day-to-day lives that we don't take the time to stop and appreciate what we've achieved. But it's important to do that, because it helps us to stay motivated and to keep moving forward."

Shruti added, "I also think it's important to celebrate our relationships. Our friends and family are the people who support us through thick and thin, and they deserve to be celebrated. So next time you have a special occasion coming up, don't forget to take the time to celebrate it!"

The moms ended the episode by talking about how they plan to celebrate their own birthdays in the future. Shruthi said that she's going to have a small get-together with her friends, and Pooja said that she's going to take a day off and go for a spa day.

They both agreed that it's important to make time to celebrate special occasions, no matter how big or small. It's a way to show ourselves that we deserve to be happy and to appreciate all that we have.

In addition to the conversation between the two moms, here are some other reasons why it's important to celebrate special occasions:

  • Celebrations can help us to feel happy and grateful.
  • They can help us to connect with our loved ones.
  • They can give us a sense of accomplishment.
  • They can help us to forget about our troubles and stress.
  • They can motivate us to keep going.
  • They can create lasting memories.

So next time you have a special occasion coming up, don't forget to celebrate it! It's worth it.
