The Secret Sauce of Glee Natural Toys, What makes us Unique
We are a brand creating resources for little children to play more. Conscious parents such as yourself make us what we are.
The biggest contributors in our story so far have been mothers, and they have contributed by being much more than just customers. Being a mother myself, I appreciate the value of insights coming straight from one. I also feel this potential is largely untapped. Therefore, I look for opportunities to work with them.
Over a year, some of our finest and most important projects have been mom-done.
Whether our logo or products, anything you find unique and pathbreaking can be attributed to a mother from our fantastic community.
For example:
- Amee has designed our logo. It is heartwarming to hear constructive feedback from an engaged community. Amee was the one to point out that our logo could be much better. Her professionalism was par excellence. Moreover, I enjoyed our conversations about equal parenting, entrepreneurship, traveling, and everything in between.
- Anu helped us create the one of its kind, Glee Cards. Her patience, keen insights, and beautiful illustrations helped make a dream come true. I also acknowledge the queries and inputs from many new mothers struggling to keep their babies engaged, which led to the concept.
- Vidya has been stellar support throughout the journey. Her video on “open-ended play” upset me as I couldn’t access the material in India. I started Glee Natural Toys with a desire to change the situation for parents. It was a personal achievement when later, some of our toys were featured in another video.
They say mothers are demanding customers, and I take it as a compliment. It means we don’t buy mindlessly. We decide thoughtfully and choose what is best for our family.
There are countless mothers invested in our journey. They have lifted us by their feedback, helping us make decisions about products and packaging and sharing happy images of their children. Being a responsive, involved brand has paid off as we learn and be better at what we do.
When we say Glee Natural Toys is mom-run, we mean it, and we are proud of it.
